What is the denosumab injection used for?

Denosumab injection is used to treat osteoporosis (thinning of the bones) in women who have an increased risk for fractures after menopause, and osteoporosis in men. It is given when other medicines cannot be used or after other medicines did not work well.

Xgeva 120mg injection inhibits the activation of osteoclasts cells that cause loss of bone.
It is a medicine used in the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men at increased risk of fractures.It makes the bones strong and reduce the risk of fractures. Xgeva Solution for Injection is given by a healthcare professional and should not be self-administered.

Is denosumab injection safe?

Denosumab injection may increase the risk that you will break your thigh bone You may feel pain in your hips and groin or thighs for several weeks or months before the bone break and you may find that one or both of your thigh bones have broken even though you have not fallen or experienced other trauma.

Where do you inject denosumab?

It is important to: take it in turns to inject into the left and right sides of your tummy or outer left and right thigh. choose a different area of skin each time. keep each new injection spot at least 2.5cm (1 inch) away from the previous injection site.

Fevastin Injection helps in relieving moderate pain and reducing fever. In situations following surgery or in situations when oral administration is not allowed, it efficiently decreases temperature and relieves discomfort for a brief period of time.

Fevastin Injection is administered by a doctor or a nurse and should not be self-administered. Your doctor will choose the exact dosage and timing of this injection based on the severity of your underlying condition. Within an hour, it begins to function. To prevent an overdose, let your doctor know if you also take any other medications that include paracetamol. If your discomfort or fever don't go away, let your doctor know.

Vomiting, difficulty sleeping, and constipation may be seen as side effects in some patients. Consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve with time and persist for a longer duration of time. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine.

Pregnant and nursing women should use it under medical supervision only. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease or alcohol abuse. It is not recommended in patients with severe or active liver disease.
